then hor, their customer service is also superb..unlike our salesgirls who always give us the "buy or scram" look..and the people generally are quite polite..
and the Japanese kids are so well-behaved and cute! so adorable! I rolled my eyes when I see Singaporean kids being rowdy and noisy and whiney...another point to why I'm not thinking about having kids now...hee..
ok, having said all that, I think Singapore is not that bad LA...haha...transport and food are cheaper and shopping is excellent! most importantly, my family and friends and you guys are all here! haha...

Hey Jocelyn! Thanks for sharing Francis' fun facts about Japan, reminded me a lot of all the interesting stuff when I was there. Haha, did you get to see their 'Dust Box'?
Well, though they have food stores in train station, it is still considered bad manners to eat in trains and you have to be sitting down to eat cos it is also bad manners to be seen standing or walking while eating. Which is one thing I may not be able to keep to cos I'm always eating on the go!
A little social commentary:
Japanese generally have very strong group mentality hence anyone behaving out of social norm maybe ostracized. Not to mention that they also have one of the highest rates of teen suicides in the world. Pressures from parents and society. A lot of the uni students I met have a need for someone to love them and a huge heart shape vacuum for God to fill :)
